Second grade art work of falling leaves is part of this month's theme of trees and apple trees based on the story of Johnny Appleseed.
In science, second grade students drew, labeled, and explained the functions and jobs of the different parts of a tree.
When I become a scientist
Second Graders used their cooking skills to prepare their own recipe of "stone soup" for their class. With the First Graders, they performed the Chinese version of Stone Soup. Parents and fellow students had the pleasure of enjoying the play and all their hard work.
